Isaiah 11:1-8
1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
3 His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
Proverbs 19:20-21
Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.
Prayer requests
Pray for Doug. he has a blood disease and has been very sick unable to do much. he affected his anemia condition. His recovery is very slow coming but the drs. say he will get better.
Pray for Lily in Austria facing a cold winter, there are food shortages and foresees a lot of problems coming. pray for her and the people of Austria. Add other countries to this request, Great Britian, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and many other places following. Pray for those Christians in China and Australia. Add us to the list as expenses are getting higher for housing, heat, electricity, food and gas for cars.
Pray for Darlene who lost a lifelong childhood friend to death, Pray for Estavon's family. Also pray for safe travels for Darlene.
Pray for Gingers new business adventure. she is making blended flavor teas on consignment for a shop her friend just opened.
Pray we would get wood soon delivered soon. it is getting colder. and for us for find a chimney brush, also somethings the Lord has laid on our hearts to get.
We have had a word from the Lord about 35 years ago that we would bring people into our home and help with hard times. We have done this at different times throughout the years. Well again, God has been laying this on our hearts heavily these past few weeks. it is real intense and we have been preparing our home for others to share this week. Pray He will bring his children to us and we wil be ready. Also pray for us. this has been the longest time we have lived alone by ourselves, and we have become pretty self-contained. pray our sharing will bounce back and we can do the Lords work graciously.
Pray for Dan Seekoz, has a wife and a small child, lives in Russia. He has not been drafted in the 1sr phase, he is a believer and wishes everyone to love one another and believes the bride will life in peace one day. pray for him and his family.
Pray for Niki Proshin, he is a 25-year-old who just left Russia and moved to Turkey, Pray for his salvation and safety.
