This is my second time writing this and it is all different. Hope I make since.
Today I was pondering about the speck in my Brothers eye compared to the plank in my eye while cleaning my kitchen. i knew it was not a good thing to feel like a brother/sister has sinned and I better than that. So this was not a problem. yet as i pondered i got the impression that the plank in my eye was related to being judgmental about another's sin.
Ok now how does "godly opinions" of what another is doing measure up to the plank. well it is the plank! if i have to consider another's sin than i am casting a judgement on my brother. The Bible says in Romans 14:4 (NKJV) " Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand."
Wow, God will make my brother stand in the end because in Hebrews 12:2 it says "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
This sounds like it is simply none of my business what another Christian is doing. My business is to love them. if i love them unconditionally the Lord will use this to help them overcome, and help me without judgement. Trusting God for their walk and mine. For we are both on a journey and we have the same Leader & Teacher.
My opinion of what someone is doing is the PLANK .
If You can see this, it is plain & simply said by Jesus
Matthew 7:1-5 (NKJV)
7 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
I am repenting and seeking change in me so I bless & not curse my brethren, my godly opinions need to be laid to rest and Trust Jesus and follow His example of Love. I no longer want a plank in my eye.
