Wow did y0u see that date! March 20, 2020. Guess we are moving into spring. It is still cold up her but not too bad. high 30's to 50's. today it is rainy and getting cooler as the day goes on. For a 2 day cold. Jim wasn't happy the weekend was predicting colder days. He is still working on his brakes. LOL He's cleaning the garage from all the stuff he loaded in there to have room to work on his brakes. that has been a project :) but it in itself is progress!
My new dog Diamond has been a blessing during these days. Its nice to have her to watch over and play with … instruction sometimes get very repetitive but she is catching on. We have pad trained until warmer days. So far she is at 85 % accident free. When she is excited she forgets to go back to the pad. Its the Barn raised mentality I have to work out of her. There she was able to just go where ever she was at for 10 months. we just need more time on our side. All in all I am glad I have her to watch over and enjoy when times look so troubling. she makes me laugh. She does not know there's a pandemic.
My personal opinion, I think the USA president is doing as best he can to curb the spread of the coronavirus. I could cry, and i have, for the New York area and for Washington & California. I am watching the other states numbers climb and I find myself in prayer continuously. This has effected so many people world wide. Tears and prayers for Europe, Italy especially. Not to mention the loss of lives in China. This looks like the 3rd & 4th seal combined in chapter 11 of Revelation. When plagues, famine, sword, wild beasts (?), and the price of food skyrockets. IDK where we are in the time slot, but I do know, God knew this was going to happen, He was not blind sighted and He has us in His hands. Some He has received home. His hand are large enough to hold us. We need to rest there. Set out minds on things above, and take many breaks from the news. We do need to be informed as what to do. and how it is going. But there needs to be a balance in us. or we will lose hope. Hope is a powerful thing and when we have Hope in God's provisions and directions, we can go thru anything know He is for us and at our side. Pray for the hurting, the lost, the death of the virus. But Praise the Lord for His faithfulness in daily lives as well. For the birds at your feeder. For the meal provided. For the ones that are healthy still in your family. For Diamond :) We will get thru this. Stay close to God.
As of last night we have 336 positive in our state, and 3 deaths. So far there has not been any positives known in our county. or surrounding ones. We do have a lady in quarantine, He husband is in Florida with the virus. They were coming home from a missions trip when he got sick. She continued home to quarantine herself. So far she is ok. It has been a week now. He is a local pastor. Pray for him & her.
I heard from Peter yesterday. Pray for India. Although no records of big numbers are leaking out to the media, he said it is bad. they do not have the doctors to go to so they are at home and in the streets. He said it is effecting mostly people over 50 and children under 5. The India streets are crowded . there is not social distancing. He said schools are closed and shops are closed but the people have no where to go where they would be safe. He also said there is a curfew. no one is allowed out after dark. He canceled his trip to USA last week when we talked about it.
Friends and Prayer partners, Stay safe and follow the guidelines from the President, even if you are in places where your state has less showing positive and your governors are more lax. It will take God and a whole country to beat this virus. Pray ..pray ..pray.
