We have been so busy. thanks for your support and prayers. this is truly a journey for two old folks. we are presently living in both houses. we have enough at the new house to stay a night on a blown up air mattress, and enough at the old house to keep us busy backing plus our beds. eating is becoming a challenge as to where??? the new place or old. may make a decision about that today. and solidify the new place for a normal dinner. its hard with our car being down, just the small old Dakoda truck. which is not having some signs of needing new breaks. Please do not let this break down now Lord! Everything takes time and with Jim still working and OT hours the shop is putting on him. he is being stretched to the limits.
well I did not mean to burden you all with our journey just wanted to report an accurate account of our standings so you will know where we are on this path. You have been here from the time of searching to now the moving. It is good to know we have you with us while we press forward. Your prayers uphold us and give us hope that this too shall pass, :) and we will one day be settled into a new home and back to living normal lives again.
Pentecost is coming up this week-end. Looking so forward to the time of rest and refreshing of the Lord. to celebrate His goodness to us and to honor Him on this Holy Feast Day.
Was able to get Muffin to a new groomer and she did very well. The lady's name is Grace and she does it in her home. She did a good job also. said Muffin did not even tremble once. I knew Muffin looked comfortable in her arms right off the bat. Thank You Lord . and it is not far from our house. in fact on route between to two. I am happy with this one. Now we need to schedule a vet appointment so she can be rechecked on her liver condition. I know this is improving also. and Muffin is eating better since I have been giving her brewers yeast. she does not miss a meal these days .eating 2-3 times a day. She has gained back some weight and with the hair cut you can visibly see she is not anorexic looking anymore! Praise God! Muffin has had an adventure with this new home too. she has bee getting familiar with the layout and she actually went to sleep in her bed without roaming yesterday. so she is getting comfortable there. In the New home I am never far from her. the set up keeps us close in every room . it will be a good change for her as well as for me & Jim. We brought Mr. Blessitt out for a couple of hours yesterday also he did very well too. Soon give Chickens a new place to roam.
speaking of chickens. it was a mess around here for awhile. Now the rooster is out of the coop. He stay outside the pen looking after them. he funny he will come out in the morning from his pen and count the hens to see if they are all there. so this is working out ok until we move. the pecking order is in motion and they are pretty mean to Sophia for being gone so long in recovery. she is getting it from them but still moving about . the free roam farm will give her some peace too. Stella our sitter has had to contend with them coming a breaking the eggs. we have it narrowed down to one of two hens. so we put her in a pen with food & water so she can nurture the other eggs to chicks. she is not eating much . I do not know if this si naturel. she is sitting on 14 eggs. a couple may have come after Kansas was put out. time will tell.
well we still do not have internet at the new house it is coming but not there yet. we have to get a hot spot to have the internet movies we watch . the two providers available in that area have very poor reviews. so we have chose to go to a HOT SPOT set up Any ways I try to stay on top here when I have time back at the old house where cable internet is still hooked up. Linda is still here to keep the site active. Soon we will be back to normal. Pray we endure and move faster than our bodies feel we can .
Blessing on you all and keep your prayers going for our Christian families posting requests God will make a difference in their lives and in yours as you pray. Thank You. {{{{HUGS}}}}
