Dear Friends;
Our actions have consequences, often affect others. Only eternity will reveal the countless lives that have been impacted by the choices we've made in this life. Did we serve the Lord and love others or simply live for ourselves? This is a valid question to ask. Not a day passes that we don't have opportunities to live for Christ and show others His love. In all honesty, think of all the times when someone needed your help and, in some instances, it might have been a stranger too. What was our response? Did we go the extra mile; go out of our way to make someone else's life a bit easier? Or did we choose the road of least resistance? Was our decision based on what was best for us?
Read Matthew chapter 25, (32-40) Where Jesus tells the story of the gathering of the nations and the separation that follows.
As we read this story, I'm sure we can all relate in some way. Throughout our lives, surely, there have been those to whom we have reached out and lent a helping hand, even at our own expense and sacrifice. Our actions demonstrate God's love for others, whether we realize it or not. As I was thinking about this passage, I thought of the faithfulness of the partners and friends of this ministry. Certainly, we all have our own battles to fight, but knowing that we're not facing Goliath alone certainly is comforting.
Do you ever think about your Goliath's in your life, and have you been able to receive the Father in heaven help? His strength, stress-free with a song of joy in your heart, or have you decided to just go for it and struggle on your own without any relief?
Think about your life, where do you really want to be? Regardless, what you and I think. There're actually only two choices, the Bible says it, read the Word for yourself. I'll be praying for you. God Bless.
