THIS RECEIPT CAME FROM MY NEIGHBOR "KATHY RODDY'. SHE SAID IT WAS HER GRANDMOTHER'S RECEIPT. "VEGETABLE SALAD"
NOTE: AT FIRST I WASN'T SURE IF I WANTED TO TRY IT, ONCE I DID, WOW! YOU CAN MAKE IT FIR SOCIALS, PARTIES, JUST FAMILY, LIST GOES ON. "GIVE IT A TRY".
FRIST MAKE THE DRESSING: 3/4 CUP OF CIDER VINEGAR 1/2 CUP SUGAR (RATHER BE REGULAR SUGAR OF SUGAR FREE "O", OR WHAT EVER) 2 TABLESPOONS OF VEGETABLE OIL AND LATER ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE IF DESIRED.
WARM UP THE DRESSING IN MICRO WAY JUST A FEW SECONDS UNTIL SUGAR DISOLVES COMPLETELY AND SET ASIDE.
NOW: IN A GOOD SIDE BOWL/LID ADD ANY KIND OF VEGGIE YOU'D LIKE. BUT; CANNED VEGGIES DO RINSE OFF FIRST BEFORE ADDING TO YOUR BOWL. I added French beans, two kinds of beans, peas and carrots, mushroom chopped, small can of corn, onions chopped, etc..
You can put any kind of veggies you wish, (CANNED OR FRESH OR BOTH). YOUR CHOICE. MIX WELL, ADD DRESSING, AGAIN MIX WELL, THEN PUT IN FRIGERATOR FOR 24 HOURS AND SERVE.
