Our weather has turn drastically cold after weeks of 45-55 weather, to a not yet 30, staying in 20s all day and dropping to teen some nights. brrr. i feel bad because my husband is so kind to me, he takes care of the chickens before he leaves work. praying his timing is good so he is not late or rushing on the bad roads. He doesn't want me falling outside. we had some snow and icy days, praying he does not fall in his taking on new things to do b4 leaving.
My chicken are picking on each other because they get bored. one has had the back feather plucked out. I had to put a blue coat spray on her so they'd leave her alone. i am praying they do ok this winter, even though they have started out badly. and for warmer days. December is generally warmer.
Anyone come here and read this ? Linda, Mommadee , members... let me know how it is where you are at.
