Matthew 11:12 New King James Version 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. I always had a struggle with this passage as i see the word violence as something bad. In my research this morning i was given a different look at it. The Greek word is blazo which means to use power to forcibly seize, laying hold of something with positive aggression. to advance forcefully, carried by a storm, ie. a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought for with the most ardent zeal and the intenses exertion. to get a share in the kingdom of God by the utmost earnestness and effort, Only used twice in the New Testament with this meaning. Matthew 11:12 and Luke 16:16 Now finally after all these years this passage makes sense to me. However i still don't like the word Violence
