Good afternoon, Almost dinnertime! It is a good day God has made.
I have been seeing a lot that Revelation is now opening up. wow I have been studying Revelations for 40 years and some things I even thought about back then have been brought up to the times with revelation light, dots are connecting. Praise God He has been giving the revelation to different ones who are not in one denomination, but in the CHURCH. When I hear them, in the Spirit, I am pierced with truth. What a wonderful awesome day we are living in.
I have been struggling with God in that I could not put up a tree this year. because of my struggle I was not hearing it all plainly. I could not see why I could not do ChristMas since it was such a time of witnessing to others in the world. It was a time of honoring God for His gift of Jesus. How can this be wrong to do??? Yet once I surrendered to this and I was not saying ok & wishing it was different, then I was able to see plainly what He was trying to tell me. This is what I have gotten this far in my desire to obey God in what I perceive He is speaking to me. Please do not think I am telling you that you are evil to celebrate ChristMas in your way. God will tell you if He wishes for a change in your lives about it, not me. I can only do what He gives me to do. That is what I am sharing here. I am not preaching for you to stop anything. How can I when I have done it so different for years. Yet this is His instruction to me:
I believe Yshua, Jesus, was born on the New Year of the Hebrew calendar, for it is a time of New Beginnings, Lambs are only born at one time and that is in the spring which correlates with the Jewish New Year. God also seems to love harbinger's and builds upon times and events. And I heard it was in the spring when the great star appeared 2000 years ago. (2000 may not be actual number) Everything points to this time of year. so I will celebrate His gift publicly during this time in the Spring as well. However I can celebrate it now too. Yet I am to leave all the pagan tinsel off of it and all the commercialism off of it. If I do this, honoring God at this time is not wrong for me, in fact I can do this quarterly if I want to and it would not upset God. Just as long as I did not bring tradition that were not of His design into it. In my thinking, how can i make His wonderous gift any better? His miraculous birth fulfilling the prophecies is certainly enough to make my day wonderful. to make my life wonderful !
I am now at peace. I set outside a large manger scene and put one out inside. This will be my only decorations. I will put them out in the spring also.
We are enjoying cHanukkah, it probably is more celebrative with more people in your family but Jim & I are finding the scriptures and lighting of the candles with the Blessings are a real joy to us. we have played some games except for last night as I was real tired. but that did not take away from the moment of honoring God. I am amazed how many ways I can make latkes and have them taste differently. LOL Once this time of 8 days are over, we are going to do the advent book we have , it is called "The Incarnation" By Thomas Ryder Worth. It is 23 poems for Advent about On the Word Made Flesh. Who cares if we go past the 25th of December. Instead we will be ending on Jan 1st.
Now I can say this to all in the stores and my friends and to you. Have a Blessed ChristMas.
BTW going to have a few really cold days here, in the teens at night. Praise the Lord He has given us a gentle winter season this far. we can still see grass popping thru the snow here. Thank You Lord!
