Well a lot keeps happening here … seems like one day flows into another full packed day. I know maybe some of you are experiencing this with holiday plans coming up. For us it has became a season of normal. Not for long I hope. :)
My Amish trip went very well. I have learned a great deal about how they support each other when they can. they have a directory for each state telling them of how each community is laid out. road maps and also the Amish shops. They spend their monies there if possible. they are pretty loyal to each other. we Christians could learn a lot from this way of thinking, but I am afraid we already have lost this concept and mixed with the world. we are to minister and share the faith with the world but we are also suppose to care for our brethren. Not all Amish are alike in what they are told to do. like some use flashing lights on their carts while others do not. some where colors while others ware only black & white. kind of like our denominational differences also. But even thought they have these differences among themselves they still care for each other and do not separate the fact of being Amish. many Christians separate and argue with one another. JUST FOUND THIS INTERESTING. BTW the Amish also celebrate Christ's birth and have children's programs about it. So they also are our brothers & sisters. We both believe in Jesus being the son of God. This community near us is a very friendly group and not at all standoffish like some groups. we are called English because of how we speak. They speak both English & Pennsylvania Dutch. Overall this is becoming a blessing for us to know them.
today I am going over to the old house to work. we will start the stove and heat the place up real good. Pray I can get a lot accomplished this afternoon. I have not worked there for over a month. we have been so busy . Now coop is complete and we are not having to have it on our list of to do's I feel I can start doing more on the inside of the old house to prepare it for sale in the spring. need motivation and time to do this as I feel more like just working around here, but out move is not completely over yet.
Tomorrow I am going to see Angel. we are meeting half way for lunch. hope to return home before dark. the weather is suppose to be cold so the roads could be slippery . your prayers for safe travels would be welcomed. I haven't since angel since June. this will be good.
today it is 38 dropping to 31 by 6 pm. then in the 20's tonight. not so high tomorrow. but sunny.
