I do not take BP medicine however a doctor put me on a diuretic to help control my BP. It keeps it under the hypertension level, yet at times fall into the pre-hypertension numbers and he would watch me to see if I would cross over to need medication. I heard about hibiscus tea helping, so I tried it. I find if I drink 1 cup Hibiscus tea daily and take 2-3 Epsom Salts baths a week (2 cups ES in water) soaking for 20-30 mins. I can keep my BP down to about normal. reading for me at 128 / 82 Early on in doing the regiment, I found out one day by accident, that upon leaving my bath I had a trying & panicky episode happen. So much my heart was racing, I was sitting on the couch trying to calm down and catch my breath when the idea struck me to take my blood pressure. Figuring it would be skyrocketing even after a relaxing bath. To my surprise, it was lower than my 138 normal low at the time, it was 129/74. After this I was sold on the baths. Now if needed, I would use this method, should my day be rushed and meeting with unfortunate circumstances. Just as precaution to keep me in the best healthy BP I could attain with out getting on BP medication. I generally drink my tea in the morning on days of ES baths and in the afternoon on days when I am not going to be taking a bath. (I do take a shower on these days ) It works for me, maybe it will help some of you manage your BP too. IDK Leaving that up to God.

This was working i was staying under the borderline numbers (about 135/ 82) I have now incorporated 2 shot glasses a day of beet juice. one in the mid afternoon and one in the evening before bed. This brought my numbers down to normal. My recent dr. visit was 122/80.
i make my own beet juice. i cook up a beet with peels when it is softer i shed the peels and put it back in the red water. cook until softer, keeping my water levels up to cover it all. then i cut up the beet, put water and it into my blender and blend away. heat it up again to a low boil and put the hot ligiid into a sealable jar. Put the lid on and let them sit on table to pop tight ( i often use spaghetti sauce jars and they will reseal. if one doesn't i use it first. i keep them all in the refrigerator because i don't trust resealable jars. And this method is working for me.)
