I have been asking the Lord what to start us off with, and since not every one will post a reply I wanted it to be something we could get a lot out of just the same. The one I have settled on it is so important for our walk to examine ourselves. We can get off course so easily, with us being sheep and this study will bring you back. Even if you feel you are not off course. It did me. I now feel even more new life bubbling up in me. Please watch the first session and see what you think. The Pastor is Colin Smith. He pastors a church in Chicago. Have to admit, my first thought was "can anything good come out of Chicago?" I may have the wrong opinion about Chicago and places like this, as I lived in suburbia Detroit growing up, but I am telling you my honest thought. He is originally from Scotland as you will notice an accent. I have been truly intrigued by this pastors study called "Momentum". I have already watched this one several times and I am still getting moved by the truth in it. I see noticeable changes in my life, building upon the changes that have taken place with my 21 day challenge in Ps. 103. I feel I am more in line than I have been in a long time. Sometimes we get sleepy and our walk is like sleepwalkers. It is not uncommon, but we do need to be roused awake. This is the time to examine ourselves and let the Lord fix and exposed what is not right within us. Time for us to be Christlike, that our following Him begins to show visibly on us, to shine. It is time for the CHURCH of JESUS to arise and take our active place in the Kingdom of God.
I suggest that you move slowly through this study with your Bibles open and with a paper or book for taking notes. I also suggest you view it more than once. Three times is a good number, but at least two times, and feel free to view it four or even five times. View it until you have no more eye opening segments. I will post another one in around a week's time until we are all through all the lessons. Move as fast or as slow as you want to. But let the journey transform you to what the Lord has purposed you to be.
