I tried this recipe I seen online. it works good for crunch and for salsa dips. However do not use muenster cheese as it burns easily. I tried swiss and cheddar also and found out I liked the cheddar better. The recipe says to add herbs (just a pinch) on the top before baking but I think plain is good if you are using a low carb dip. Here is what you do.
Cut a cheese slice into 4 squares. Lay it on parchment paper with a space like baking cookies. if the chees melts and touches do not worry it snaps apart easily. Bake it on 325 for 23 mins. if you peek, It looks a mess but by the time it gets to 23 minutes it looks more like a cracker with holes in it.
Experiment with your cheese. an American cheese may also work. But if you do not like one flavor try another. I tried 3 types to begin with & added spices & herbs to some
if you miss salsa & chips this is a good option and cheese has little to 0 carbs depending on the type.

I am buying them now. Whisp brand cheese crackers at Walmart. a bit pricy for the amount but if you only eat half the bag or less to get you over the hump it is worth it. I like them with a slice of cheese and sausage. or with a dip of some kind . I use a cheese dip with some salsa. I like the cheese added so it sticks to the cracker. or sour cream & salsa. the crackers are small not much over a quarter size. BUT I don't have to bake them and its a easy fix.
Whisp has 5 flavors to choose from, look at the carbs some have 2 for half a bag, others only have 1 carb for the same amount.
