my journey started on September 18th 2019. my calculations are to Dec. 21, 2019
for 3 months my averages for these 17 weeks are 1022 calories and 16 carbs. I do not know how I was so low on carbs. many weeks I felt I had stretched it to my limits (which were 35 carbs & 1400 cals) However I was mindful at other times and kept them low. sometimes I do not know how but some days were very low.
I try not to go too low because I think health is most important here. yet at the end of the day I found my choices were much lower than I expected.
I do interment fasting 5 days a week, not as long on the weekends when my husband is home. I do not eat after 8 or 9pm and I do not start eating until 1 -3pm the next day I do drink with cream in the mornings. Nonetheless I have at the least a 16 hour stretch of no foods other than cream and that rarely starts before 8am so I have a 11-12hr fasting of the cream as well.
I have not lost a lot of pounds. 14 right off the bat which was probable water weight. I picked up my water intake 2 weeks ago and stated walking for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week. since then I lost 2# a week. So I am down now 19# in 3 months. it is slow but I feel my body is changing and some areas are smaller. they say its better if you lose slowly and this is the most I have lost in a long time. Being older weight does not come off easily. So I am satisfied. Basically if I look at the average I am down a little over 6# a month.
I believe the water is most important and I was having trouble getting enough until I got a few (6) 10oz bottles from my daughter and I fill them daily to have a good water count. 10oz go down faster than 16oz. I drink a 16 on the side for pills and I do drink tea & .
I think I need to write java in stead of cof fee because the emoji just pop up .
I heard if you follow this plan often you do not loose a lot right away. but 9 months in you start dropping. they say it is because your fat cells will fill themselves with water to maintain their weight. after there is less fat and more water they disburse. when that happens you loose more. most people who do this Keto style diet seem to show their losses later after a year into a changed lifestyle. So I guess we will just see.
One thing is for sure I am praying for my daughter's health & weight more than every. her sugar is now under control and she is seeing health benefits. so all is not lost.
