Hello everyone, sorry it has been so long since I was here in this room. you may have gotten a glimps of what has been going on here with my prayer requests.
Drinking a cup of
late today. It has been really busy with Jim home. I think we will have to work into a schedule when he retires because I have not accomplished much of anything except gain weight! that man loves to eat and no always the good stuff unless you call cookies, ice cream, candy "good Stuff". He is always tempting me, like those holiday cherry candy cordial's/ or he buys those white wedding cake cookies that come out this time of year. then there is the chex mix. and the chips and salsa, the power bars, the ice cream comes around every night at bedtime. And the man stays slim as a rail. Me on the other hand trying to limit most of this stuff, eat one or two pieces and add a pound for each time I give into temptation! woe is me, hope & pray I can turn this around after he goes back to work. But I know for as easy as I gain it takes 7 x's the refusal to loose one of those pounds. I will need to get head strong about it. a complete transformation of mind,
You have heard also about our chicken trials. Still in dilemma over that one . I really do not want to get rid of my rooster. Been looking online for answers but none found.
Jim has been doing good. he has a stitch that has not dissolved which is bugging him. he says he feels better than he did before surgery and his weight restriction has increased. from 10 # to 30# so he can do more which makes him happy. He should be going back to work on the 9th. of Jan. That is where he will need the most prayer because things can get superman heavy at the shop.
I have painted my 14 pictures for my Christmas gifts. if I can figure out how to get them from the camera to here I will share them with you. they were made for individual passions. So I was really challenged. some are better than others. but that's because I am new at this. and I have certain favorite things to paint that speak to me.
I have the family coming over on the 13th of Jan. some from out of town who will arrive the 12th. We are having our homemade gift exchange then. so my home will become bare again. I have pictures everywhere!
Muffin continues to baffle me. she sleeps most of the day & all night. she sleeps sound too. this morning I rustled her several times and she did not budge. if it were not for her breathing I would have thought this was the end. then she finally gave a muffled growl and woke up. she ate a little more last night before bed. but still only once a day and last night about 3/4ths to what she normally eats. I was happy to see her eat. She is not eating her regular food, but I have gotten creative and offered a variety (spoiled dog, she better not be playing me :) ) she is blind as ever, hearing is going a little, been praying it hold out. she is getting confused more, last night she jumped down from the couch and went straight to Blessitt's bed and squatted and pee'd. she did it like she thought she was in the right place. Maybe I will have to get her a litter box setup some day if this continues. after all we use porta potties for our elderly why not out elderly dogs. Still praying she will bounce back to a normal routine.
Linda, have you noticed that most all THE SMILIE EMOTIONS and are having a down internet day?
Have a Happy New Year everyone. surprising we have almost made it to 2018. Many have expected many forms of doom on us but God still holds back the reigns on this world and nothing can happen without His timing. It is good to keep your eyes open but never let it consume you. Let God consume you. Jesus our King will return on the exact Day the Father has set.
