Good afternoon a cup of tea for my pallet to warm me. The house has felt cold all day yesterday. I just was able to get the heat up in the house. it was below zero last night. Brrr. I generally sleep with a fan on all year, I like the breeze on my face, but some nights you just have to suffer to stay warm and shut it off. It also help drowned out the ringing in the ears. I have that pretty continually but noise makes me not notice it.
Linda I need help, we are not getting our emotions back. There is not many left for some reason. Just this. Do I need to do anything or just wait? Its been since the 1st of the year.
If any have joined us on our 40 day fast. I have a concern Jesus gave me last night in a dream to share. He told me that the reason for lack of unity & restoration in the church, in the families, in our personal relationship and even in our country falls on 2 lacking things. Kindness in action & full commitment to follow His taught ways in action.
I kept hearing upon waking & I even dozed back off a couple of times before I got up. KINDNESS & COMMITTMENT ACTIONS. Then in my dream, He walked away looking troubled for these fruits are rotten. "How can we change this?" he spoke as he was leaving.
I got up and went to seek what Kindness meant and where I could find it in the Bible. Because I did not want to go on my own knowledge of a common word. We were all raised to be kind. I have heard the word since I was a little girl. but what is Kindness in God's thinking? What are we Missing Lord, was my quest.
The very first scripture was Proverbs 31:26b, "on her tongue is the law of kindness"
Oh my, I have failed to have kindness always on my tongue. Sure I felt I was a kind person...but not always! I want to change this in me. For to start any restoration within the church, family, or country, it has to start with me. I need to be the example of kindness to those in my life. We are given an example of how He moves towards kindness in Nehemiah 9:17 "You are a God, ready to pardon. Gracious & merciful. Slow to anger. Abundant in Kindness & did not forsake them." (the people had become stiff-necked and rebellious, like many people in our lives)
Can I say I excrete these characters of His personality out of me towards all people at all times? Am I always ready to pardon? Am I gracious? Merciful? do I quickly snap on occasions or am I slow to anger? Do I have a abundant well of kindness flowing out of me? Or has my heart forsaken people?
Christ makes these attributes available to His Followers thru the Holy Spirit. It must grieve Him when we do not let them out at times of testing. when we feed the old man in us.
Col 3: 12-16 & 2 Cor. chapter 6 will add more layers to this and instruct freshly how we should carry the cross of Christ to the world. Should you desire to change as much as I do, read them and then, if needed, move forward with repented hearts to pray for our family, our church & our country .
I will dig into commitment more and seek His instruction, I will share my findings here. Bless you all.
Thank You Lord for being so kind to me to instruct me how to pray what is needed for your church, my family and for the nations of the world.
