FIRST: GOD SEES HER/ "WHERE to find HOPE (Romans 5:1-11)
Elizabeth struggled with drug addiction, and when she recovered she wanted to help others. So she wrote notes and placed them throughout her city. Elizabeth tucked these notes under car windshield wipers and tacked them on poles. Before, she desperately sought signs of hope; now she leaves them for others. One of her notes concluded with these words: "Much love. Hope sent".
Hope with love---that's what Jesus gives. He brings us His love with each new day and strengthens us with that hope. His love flows freely out of His heart and is poured lavishly into ours: " We know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the HOLY SPIRIT to fill our hearts with his love" (Romans 5:5). He desires to use the hard times to develop perseverance and character and bring us a satisfying, hope-filled life (vv. 3-4).Even when we're far from Him, He still loves us (vv6-8).
Looking for signs of Hope? The Lord offers hope with love through inviting us to grow in a relationship with Him. Our hop for a fulfilling life is anchored in His unfailing love.
SECOND: IN TOUCH with CHARLES STANLEY " GOD's AMAZING PROMISE" (READ Matthew 6:31-33; Luke 12:22-32; 1Samuel 1:1-18; Psalm 139)
What is the priority of your life---the one thing around which everything else revolves?
Jesus tells us that God's kingdom and righteousness should be our highest aim. This isn't achieved through passivity; (Matthew 6:33) uses the word " seek," which implies activity and persistence. God's kingdom must be pursued every day, moment by moment.
Life on earth takes place amidst tow opposing realms that are in constant conflict---one under the control of this world and the other under God's kingship. To seek the Father's Jehovah Kingdom is to submit to His rule over every area of our life. The bottom line is obedience.
To seek God's righteousness means cooperating with His process of transforming us into Jesus' image. An integral part of this process is the renewing of our mind with Scripture. The WORD of GOD keeps the Father's view point and instructions fresh in our thinking.
Take a moment to evaluate who or what dominates your thoughts and affections:
1) Where do you invest time and money?
2) What desires govern YOUR choices?
Many people deal with anxiety. News reports or circumstances at home often cause concern and fear about our future. BUT as believers, we're encourage not to worry (Luke 12:22). Instead, were to seek God's Kingdom and rely on HIM to provide all our needs ( Luke 12: v.31) This is the opposite of the world's philosophy, which tells us to rely on ourselves or other people for security.
We can confidently depend on our eternal King because HE HIMSELF is truth (John 14:6), and HIS promises are true. According to (Titus 1:2), God cannot lie and never makes a promise that HE WON'T KEEP. and HE CERTAINLY HAS THE POWER TO KEEP HIS WORD, FOR "NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD" (Luke 1:37).
The Lord is also mindful of all our needs. Looking at His excellent provision for birds and flowers, we can be confident of HIS even greater care for HIS beloved children. What a relief tp know our heavenly Father is both intimately acquainted with our needs and eager to meet them.
Clinging to HOPE is difficult when circumstances are miserable and show no signs of improving. This can be especially discouraging when we know that our all-powerful God could remedy the situation and fulfill our dreams but hasn't.
(Psalm 139); How well does GOD really know Me?
Or even care to know Me?
How does this affect your understanding of God's relationship with YOU?
The concept of fanning grain, or winnowing, is often used in the BIBLE to mean God's judgement.
"But that same Hebrew term(zarah) occurs two verses later, where it is translated as "YOU scrutinize my path". Here, winnowing is not a fearsome separation of people but an assessment of our choices and decisions. Instead of causing dread, this should lead to sober yet hopeful mindfulness about our actions.
Our part is : Even on the wrong path, we can still be found and led home again.
God knows us completely---not only the best parts but also the worst: our secret struggles, darker habits, and unwelcome movements of the heart.
Infinite love makes God's omniscience both a delight and a valuable gift.
ONLY a deeply trusting heart would say, "Search me, God". We, too, can confidently ask this, as God's desire is always to "lead me in the everlasting way" (Psalm vv23-24).
The Psalm begins, "Lord, YOU have searched me and known me". (Chaqar, the Hebrew word for "search", also means "explore" or "thoroughly examine". Also the Hebrew word for "known" (v1) is "yada", which also means being skillful at something.
Even the darkness is light to God(v12). Invite him into every corner of your heart. With perfect knowledge, HE will guide you through the best, and worst, of yourself.
I pray that if one person will trust and come to Jesus, then they will find out how much of their life could have been better years prior.
Satan wants you to feel " helpless, no-hope, despair, life's too tough, not worth living, fear of any kind, not good enough, your sins are sooooooooo great that you could never, never be forgiven, list goes on and on".
THIS IS WHAT SATAN WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE. IF HE CAN KEEP YOU AWAY FROM THE TRUTH "BIBLE", HE WILL. HE WANTS YOUR SOUL AT ANY PRICE. HE WANTS COMPANY IN HELL TO BE WITH HIM,
SO HE CAN TOURCHER YOU FOREVER.
JUST DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, STUDY THE WORD FOR YOURSELF, FIND SOMEONE THAT YOU TRUST THAT CAN HELP YOU UNDERSTAND JEHOVAH'S PRECIOUS WORDS AND PROMISES OF THE BIBLE. GO ON LINE AT LIBRARIES TO DO RESEARCH. DO WHAT IT TAKES TO GET AT THE TRUTH.....BE KIND TO YOURSELF, LOVE YOU, BECAUSE I CARE AND LOVE YOU AS JESUS LOVES US. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PAST, I CARE ABOUT YOUR FURTURE AND BEING SAVED AND HAVE A BETTER LIVE AND HOPE... NO ONE IS PERFECT EXCEPT JEHOVAH GOD, AND WALKING WITH HIM IS NEVER BORING, BUT IS WILL WORTH LIVING. GOD BLESS.
