   You may have heard that tech companies are working on digital badges or passports which hold our vaccine history in order to distinguish people who are vaccinated versus those who are not. This could have serious implications for people who do not comply. Just last month the French parliament approved a bill that will require a health pass in order for people to access restaurants, bars, trains and planes, and some other public venues. Within weeks this law will apply to everyone 12 years and older. However, with that being said, let's not forget that THE LORD ALWAYS TAKES CARE OF HIS OWN -i.e., those who are willing to trust HIM, and obey HIM.
   Have you been worried lately over what might happen next or what's taking place right now?
   Don't be afraid friend. The only kind of fear we are supposed to have is the fear of the LORD. This isn't fear of GOD doing something mean to you in response to unbelief, disobedience, or sin.  The fear of the LORD is wholesome dread of displeasing your HEAVENLY FATHER. Because you value your relationship with HIM, you make it a point in your life NOT to allow anything that might interrupt or disturb your walk with the LORD. In other words, HE is what matters most to you. Your one desire is to know HIM, follow HIS lead, and make HIS name known to others! This has been my passion for decades and I pray that it becomes your as well. 
   On a fairly lighter note-with summer coming to an end, my family and I just returned from a week-long vacation Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It was an enjoyable time for all of us with plenty of sights to take in. I think everyone who didn't make it outside last summer made up for it this time, as the crowds flooded the streets and happily enjoyed the fresh mountain air. For our family, it was simply  a week, but I think a week was adequate in light of the black bear sightings at our hotel on three separate occasions during our stay- once included a visit right up to the fence of the outdoor swimming pool. You can only imagine how excited the swimmers were as the bear wanted to join them!
   I'm often reminded of the verse in Proverbs 4:18 which states, "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day". This is encouraging to me because no mater how dark this world becomes in these last days, we as believers are in the light. As long as we stay in the light, we will not stumble for not only do we see where we're going but also what lies ahead. The prince of darkness no longer has the upper hand because the light of GOD's word and GOD's presence exposes him. If you can see your enemy coming, then you have the advantage over him. This allows time to make a quality decision as to how you're  going to respond to this faith opportunity. Needless to say, the devil isn't very pleased with Christians knowing his plans or mode of operation, but regardless of what he thinks, the only place he belongs is under our feet!
   Remember friend, YOU  are the one that GOD loves the most!
   And if GOD is for YOU, then what chance does the enemy have against you. Perhaps you're facing a physical challenge in your life today, or maybe something else. The point is this-GOD's not holding out on you.
   I encourage you to stop what you're doing. Spend some time in GOD presence. Be refilled with the SPIRIT. Draw from HIS strength. Take a break-enjoy the day and smell the roses. Don't sweat the little things in life. You're going to make it. GOD is for YOU- not against you. HE is with you right now and goes before you to prepare the road ahead. let HIM take the lead!
