This is Andrew Murrays book in audio Absolut Surrender. listen to 1 chapter a week (or longer) until you have dealt with the areas mentioned. Since Christ is at our door, about to return for His Bride. We must now come to terms with our death to self so we will be ready as the virgins' who had their lamp oil filled. Take as long as needed before moving on to the next chapter. i am going thru this challenge with you.

i will try to write out my challenges for each chapter. Yours may not be the same as mine but maybe they are, only knowing us all, we are at different levels of even the same challenge. What some may read one way for their personal walk, may be completely different in understanding for another's walk. So if this helps your journey to surrender this is good, however, it may just be my journey. This will come as slow as i need it for me to digest and speak with the Lord on what i need to surrender. Some parts may take longer. Maybe you move quicker than i do but i want to be sure this is my last time at this. i have journals back in the 1980's about my surrendering. it has been a chipping away process. i want this time to be the fulfillment of complete surrender. If you think i need some prayer, please add me to your list.
My challenges this far. (Examining myself with these)
Chapter One
1. with Gods help i will not rest until i am completely filled with the Holy Spirit 100% and it is evident in all i do.
Mark 16: 17.18 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
2. Having my whole Nature yield to His Spirit.
Galatians 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
3 Forsake all to follow Christ.
Luke 14:33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.
4. Can you give up husband, wife, children, family & pets to follow Him?
Matthew 10:36-38 and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
5. Can you give up the love of this world and your life in it.
John 12:25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
6.Added thoughts for me to ponder?
These challenges may sound hard, but if we are not willing to give it all up for Christ then why are we calling ourselves Christian Believers?

To push more and more into loving Him and the Holy Spirit fullness will come out of that
