Starting this early as we may have power outages in our area.
AG: Pray for now outages and the weather will stay above freezing so the ice does not stick & break trees. Pray for safety for those who have to get on the roadways. This storm system is suppose to last for 3 days. God is still in control.
pray for Linda as she is in the hospital. it is said to be for a few days, but have not heard why. But God knows. if I hear more I will update.

Health Update: I need to clarify a few things. While I am definitely on a decline I believe my life expectancy is closer to a month at this point. Of course with prayer that could change. I am having a procedure today to insert a permanent drain. That will keep me at home so I don’t have to struggle to get to the hospital. I am also increasing the hospice visits at home. I have been having a nurse come weekly (and she is wonderful). That will stay the same. She will drain the fluid as needed. I will be adding a CNA to do bed baths as it’s too hard to get to the bathroom.
My pain remains under control as long as I take my Med on time. I overslept this morning so am having minor discomfort. That should go away within the hour. I am still on the lowest dose of Tramadol. If it gets worse I can take a second one. Additionally, I have stronger pain meds available should I need them.
My appetite is greatly decreased and I can’t eat much. I know I’m losing weight but don’t don’t know how much. I also frequently throw up at night. I am much more sleepy. After a couple of hours I need a nap of at least equal time. Sleep is good!
I continue to have visitors from my ladies group, church and family. This week my son and daughter-in-law from Baltimore were here. It was wonderful spending a few days with them as he is in the service and is unable to visit much.
I also have my friend who stays in our front bedroom who watches over me when Dave is at work. Having her here eases my mind a lot. And my daughter who lives locally helps with whatever we ask. That is a blessing as she is married (hubby works out of town a lot), has 2 young teenage kids, and works full-time plus. We also have a young adult son living on the premises who helps where he can.
I am well blessed.
Prayers for Diane's grandson Xavier, blood work came back good. but his twitches could be caused from a nervous condition. he has been upset since his parents divorced several years ago. He is 11 or 12 now.
AG: Prayer that the house loan goes through for us. God's favor, that we will have a closing day soon.

Pray for Dee her sugar has been staying high in the morning. & for Angels. Pray for both of them and those with diabetes. Phil, Dave, Sho, Diane, more
Pray for Carie to get meds. to stay sober. For job hours and for her to show up. for her to stay here in our state or move back home.
Pray for direction for James and for him to have a changed lifestyle free from drugs and wrong relational choices. For work hours and a new job with Dennis. For him to have a place to sleep since he & Carie are not together.
Pray for Montel to get his license and car on road.
Continued Prayer for my dog Mr. Blessit to be well and diarrhea stopped. He is doing a little better but not out of the woods yet.

UPDATE: Linda went in due to her Coumadin levels being to high . They are bring them down to a safe level & she will be having some test done tomorrow, Pray for protection over her during these tests,

UPDATE: Linda was found to have 3 ulcers in her throat and they will be giving her meds to heal these and adjusting her other meds to accommodate. keep Linda & Phil in your prayers. Thank You !!
UPDATE: weather here is horrible. Since Friday it has had steady rain, steady sleet, steady snow, & sleeting now for 8 hours. Will continue to 7 pm. then turn to rain but dropped temps will freeze it on the ground some more. then back to snow later Monday night. hazardous driving and stores have closed down. Mc'D's closed but Save a lot did not, where Montel works. Jim went out and took him to work & will pick him up at 9. continued prayers for safety in traveling over the next few days. Still pray for no power outages as this is not over yet. Been a steady 25 mph wind w/gusts to 45mph for past day & half. and continuing thank you.
Praying for all of you that is in the path of this storm. that has reached from the gulf of Mexico to Canada and from Montana to Maine. may you all be safe , I know we are not alone in this weather outbreak but it is from snow to thunderstorms and hard rain across our country, May God keep you and your family safe.

Prayers Needed. tonight before going to bed I started the dishwasher. Just incase power would go out while sleeping I wanted them clean. Meanwhile Jim got called into work early 3am. he went down and quickly called me. my kitchen, dinning room, hall way & half the bathroom was flooded. I mean flooded you could see the lake on top of the carpeting. something went wrong with my dishwasher. Jim set me up with the shop vac and for the next hour I vacuumed up water until it quit working. Jim had to go to work so he left feeling really bad for leaving me. meanwhile traveling 10 miles on ice he gets a text from a guy at work telling him he does not have to come in til 7. he is approaching the parking lot. stops reads text and turns around and comes home. ice bad. thinking he should be home to help me. now last night earlier the propane tank needed changing our hot water was gone. but the piolet wont light. still hasn't lit after several attempts. ok prayer needs are 1. Floors dry quickly, 2. piolet lights on hot water tank, 3.Jim does not be too tired working on heavy machinery today and does not have to work 12 hours.& His safety working on machine he has to crawl into, 4. the power does not go out tonight or today. 5 roads get clear from icy conditions and Jim is safe traveling back & forth to work. oh yeah on more. 6, my dishwasher can be fixed.
sorry for such a large request from one place! These darts have to be deflected. This too shall pass.

Jim's friend's wife was just taken to emergency. They are saying she has internal bleeding, but are uncertain to where it is coming from. they will be doing test & a scan on her blood tomorrow to pin point the area for a possible corrective surgery. She has a Ulcerative Colitis but they do not think this is causing the bleeding. Pray for her & Jims friend, he is scared also and not in the best of heath himself. they could us a miracle and an end to these illnesses. Praying now for God to stop the bleeding. and while we are at it heal this colitis condition too.

please pray for us all
we personally have had a lot of things happen here. half of my house has the carpet pulled up and fans trying to dry everything due to a faulty dishwasher malfunction. our driveway is treacherous to get out of we slide everywhere & about get stuck. The ignition on the car acted up again yesterday when I took Montel to work and had to wait 15 minutes before it would start (luckily it did), so it is not fixed. and the drama with carie is over the top. she will not listen to my advice but has to bring me in to the knowing how she is feeling and it is generally raving mad about something or someone. Jim is overworked at the shop OT every day and things are breaking down at a massive rate, the roof collapsed in on one side of the shop after this storm and he is working Saturdays almost ever week. and then here every night trying to dry up the water mess. I can see the tired stress on his face, He has picked up something with a sore throat and draining him also. Now I hear carie has a second flat tire and needs late night rides to work from us. we are stretched beyond ability right now. Pray for her tire to get fixed she does need her job.
I think this is a demonic attack and I believe they were brought into our house by Carie. This is a spiritual war we are battling more than the physical. We need back up and I am asking for help. Thanks
Also I feel Linda has been hit with a spiritual battle with her being taken off line for health issues right now. she does a lot of prayer request on fb. Anney has had serious things happening in her home with her husband and he is hospitalized now and her grand children. she is a big prayer partner on fb with Linda, I am praying for all of you prayer warrior's that God will cover us and put a hedge of protection around us and our families.
Time to fight on our knees. so we can fight on our knees another day for all these people we pray for.

FINAL UPDAYE ON JOY from Dave, her husband.
To Joy's Facebook friends from Dave:
Joy died last night at 9:30 after a two and a half year battle w/colon cancer. Yes, she lost the battle w/cancer, but she is in the presence of Jesus, so victory is hers. Joy greatly appreciated the support and love that she received from all of her FB friends and family. She had her Lynchburg friends, her Pennsylvania friends and then her on-line friends from around the country. It was amazing the connections that she made thru FB, even getting to meet a number of friends in person. Joy stayed active on FB almost to the end. She put up her last health status last Thurs, and then went into a sleep mode on Saturday and that continued until the end. The end did come quickly as she had 15 wks in which she was stable, and then declined quickly over this past two wks with her final wk being a drastic decline. We were very blessed that her suffering at the end was limited to just a couple of days.
We will be having her memorial service this Saturday, and that is when she really wanted to have an impact on any unsaved friends and family as they will be hearing the Gospel clearly presented thru song and Scripture. Our Life Group pastor will be leading the service. From the time that Joy was given her final prognosis on 12/19/2017, and was told that she had 2 wks to 4 months to live, her goal has been to impact her loved ones and friends for Jesus. The only healing that she was seeking at that point was eternal healing, and she has that now. She wanted her life and death to bring glory and honor to the Lord Jesus, and her memorial service will do just that. MercyMe's song, "Even If," will be the theme of the service. Youtube the song if you want to hear a powerful and moving message that says:

PRAISE THE LORD! we are setting up a closing date. all is good to go!
I needed some good news . Thank You Lord and thank you for the prayers friends. it looks like it could be May 4th. praying for that cuz Jim will be off work that day. It was already set up in advance. So if that day works with every one we are going for it.

Pray for Jo. a widow, she has stage 4 kidney disease, then her furnace broke. she cannot afford to have it fixed right now & is enduring in her home with electric blankets and elec. heater in her bedroom.

Update on Linda: Praise the Lord Good News! they have removed all monitors and had her walking the halls with assistance. she is using the bathroom on her own, If her blood levels are ok they will release her Sunday or Monday. Phil sounded better too. and asked we pray for SUNDAY
keep Allen in your prayers. he is in hospital confinement due to his meds being off and he gets agitated, Meds need readjusting and praying his aids are good to him and like him and know what to do to keep him calm. Allens has dementia and PSTD. Pray for Anney his wife and family.
